Video release – Love

Here it is, probably our last video for ‘We Need Monsters’, for a song called ‘Love’.
It´s about an indian seamstress who is daydreaming during her work as a kind of cognitive survival strategy.
It took us one year of production to film the different seasons.
What I intended to express with this song is that imagination can save our life. Like it saved the life of this indian girl.

Have some magical moments in 2016.

Ticket From Kingdom Come – Video

Our first video of our upcoming album ‘We Need Monsters’ (6th November 2015) is out now!
The song is called ‘Ticket From Kingdom Come’:

We shot in an abandoned house this summer in a small-town in germany.
We´ve been seven? times up there and at one point I thought it would be a good idea to shoot alone and make some experimental shots. This will be a lesson for me! I underrated the massive heat, passed out and woke up in my own vomit. But don´t worry, the scene is not in the video, I even never saw it for myself because I deleted it instantly.
This video deflects from our former kind of video making, because we focused the first time the band, not the story.
But it definitely has one – which one, is up to your discretion.

Enjoy.

Ewian

What happened the last six months?

Dear lovers and dreamers,

As you already might know, I´m back in studio to record the second Ewian album.

I was not constantly dearly beloved by Muse but I can say that I had moments which beat the living daylights out of me and my soul and that I had to catch these to transform it into in a building of sounds and lyrics.
It’s already clear that the next record will be a pure Ewian album. No Remix, no Featuring – 100% Ewian.
After the Debut “Good Old Underground” it´s not only time to proceed to tie in at it, but also enhance the music by zero in on what identifies the typical Ewian sound.

The release of the second Ewian album was destined for Spring 2016, but it´s very likely to be released already this year.

In addition some of you know that I actually produced 11 songs on ‘Good Old Underground’, not 10.
A few weeks ago, I decided to publish this secret song called Placebo for free, you can download it on Soundcloud if you like:

Furthermore we are working on two videos, but the production is extending as a lot of staff and requisites are needed.

I already posted some freeze frames from the upcoming video for a song called ‘Love’ on Twitter. One part of the concept is to shoot in every season at the same location to realize a visual transition while the protagonist remains in the same time:

Unfortunately we have to shoot the winter scene again (which is a pity because the winter in germany was beautiful last time), which means that the video will be finished only next year.

The second video and song will be more murky, we are still working on it:

We are curious to see what will come out in the end.
